Hat burning Workshop

Beginner level -  Hat Burning Workshop!

This workshop utilizes simple, single line designs (nothing overly detailed) and an easy to burn on fabric.

Registration is $75 and includes:

Vegan Suede Rancher Hat

Template

Embellishments (ribbon, lace, feathers, etc.)

Workshop includes SIX embellishments...

(1) base ribbon, (1-2 ) trim ribbon or (1) chain and 3-4 alternate decorations (floral, pins, charms, feathers, cards, leather, pampas, wheat, etc.)

Materials needed to prep, stencil, and burn graphic design

(graphic, material to transfer image, tool* to burn graphic on hat).

*Tool is for use in the studio (not to take home)

Premium hats are available for purchase in the studio. Premium hats are an additional $20 (these are vegan suede, with a slightly smaller brim + elastic band inside brim).

NOTE: We do not take pre orders for these, as our stock changes frequently. All colors that we have in stock will be set out at the start of hat burning workshops.

When registering, please select which template you would like (templates are fitted to position on hat as shown in photo - you can rearrange the layout and/or remove elements). Registration is for one seat.

Each guest will need their own registration. We do not allow unregistered guests to observe.

If you would like to freehand your own design, write "no template" in the notes. This does not change the cost of the workshop.

If you select the name/words template: We will size this accordingly to fit the hat. Recommend keeping this to 1-3 words.

Want to add personalization to one of the graphics below? You can add initials, name, or simple text (up to 3 words) for an additional $5.00. NOTE: The only template that includes personalization is the floral + initials. If you do not include the initials you prefer, the template will be prepped with the initials listed on your registration. We do not prepare additional materials or make changes to templates at the start of the workshop.

Note: This workshop uses a heat tool. No guests under the age of 16 are allowed to attend. All guests in attendance must be registered (due to liability reasons, we do not allow unregistered guests to be in the studio during workshops). Terms and conditions (at checkout) release Urban Artisan from any accidental burning. All guests are to use caution when operating heat tools to ensure the safety of all guests/studio furniture/equipment.
